Went on Tuesday for taco Tuesday/happy hour. Great atmosphere/view of harbor. Arrived around 4:45, all outdoor seating was taken. House chips and salsa were good. Chips could be a bit thinner, but salsa was excellent. I had two 1,50 beef tacos, 6 Buffalo wings, and two 6.50 well drinks. Tacos were worth the price. Four wings were ok, what you would expect for Buffalo. Spouse had margarita on rocks and two chicken tacos. Said they were good, tacos were a bit spicy.

So I'll admit I'm not the pickiest when it comes to judging food. I thought the food was great although I can't remember if it was chicken or steak fajita. The strawberry lemonade was amazing . The service was also excellent from what I remember. They allowed my friend to wheel his scooter Into the restaurant. The best part about this place is the atmosphere. The harbor being right there in all of the ship and the small shops and restaurants provide an ambiance that made me want to stay longer. Didn't think I would even be leaving this review so I didn't take pics of the food, but I saw a video in my phone that will give you a feel of the atmosphere.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience - Twice In One Trip During a recent trip to Long Beach, CA, I visited Tequila Jack's Restaurant & Cantina not once, but twice—and both visits were absolutely fantastic! From the start, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. On both visits, we started with the chips and queso, and they were perfect—crispy, warm tortilla chips paired with a rich, creamy queso that had just the right amount of kick. A great way to begin the meal! We couldn’t resist ordering the fajitas again on our second visit—they were that good. Sizzling hot, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh tortillas and all the classic fixings. Each bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The menu offers a wide spectrum of bold, flavorful Mexican dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. Combine that with the lively waterfront setting, and you have the perfect dining spot. Tequila Jack’s checks every box: incredible food, flawless service, and a fun, inviting atmosphere. It’s officially one of my go-to spots in Long Beach. Highly recommend—you won’t be disappointed!

A big shout out to Bryce who made Tequila Jack's a great experience! This Saturday night I was out with my wife and we wanted to try Tequila Jack's for some good Mexican food. The place had a nice feel to it both in music and decor. We loved the food and drinks. But what really stole the show was our waiter Bryce! The restaurant was busy but Bryce was still very attentive and personable. Not only that, but his recommendations were spot on! He was the best waiter I have seen in a very long time and he made our night. We will definitely be coming back; and when we do, we will ask for Bryce.

Nice place, I used to come here when I worked at Parkers lighthouse next door to have drinks with chips and salsa. The chips and salsa are complimentary and I love that because I am ALWAYS on a budget. "Cheap, thrifty, frugal" call it what you want but I like to save money and there's no problem with that. You are supposed to eat when you drink because the alcohol absorption is slower on the body. So for a 12 beer it was good cuz I got food too. Peter is really kind he is the bar tender. I just wish they had different sizes of beers because I just wanted a Pint but they only serve goblet, the beer on tap selection could be a lot better. I prefer Coors light and michelob ultra. But I got the 805, I don't like it but I drink it anyways. Had they had more of a beer on tap selection I would have ordered another. I will get Bud light next time cuz I like that beer sometimes. It's like water though

Perfect place for date. We love coming here and it’s always been a blast! What’s not to love the beach is right there lol. I understand the wait time is insane but if you do have the time please go! Amazing service, good food and lovely vibes. I think we will make this our anniversary go to with reservations in advance!

Generous portion on the carne asada burrito — flavorful, well-seasoned, and filling. Casual, laid-back atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was attentive and friendly. Great spot for a relaxed meal near the waterfront.

First time here, and I was recommended this place, and I'm very glad I went here. Food and drinks did not disappoint and will gladly come back. Right next to the marina, great location.
